Job Summary
Local heating and air conditioning company seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage customer accounts, billing, payments, and collections. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and experienced with accounting software and financial records.
Responsibilities
Manage daily accounts receivable and customer accounts.
Prepare and process invoices, statements, and billing documents.
Post and reconcile customer payments.
Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on past-due accounts.
Research and resolve billing discrepancies.
Maintain accurate customer and financial records.
Assist with reconciliations and month-end processes.
Communicate with customers regarding invoices, payments, and account questions.
Work with accounting and other departments to resolve issues.
Maintain confidentiality of financial and customer information.
Requirements
Previous accounts receivable or accounting experience required.
Experience with QuickBooks, Sage, ServiceTitan, and/or Jonas preferred.
Knowledge of invoicing, payment processing, and account reconciliation.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Able to manage multiple accounts and meet deadlines.
