Pay: $25/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM

Job Summary

Local company seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on diesel trucks, buses, and equipment.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel equipment.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems using diagnostic tools.
Inspect engines, brakes, fuel systems, exhaust, and hydraulic systems.
Repair or replace faulty parts and components.
Perform oil changes, fluid checks, tire service, and preventive maintenance.
Test equipment after repairs to ensure proper operation.
Maintain accurate repair and maintenance records.
Follow safety and environmental procedures.
Communicate repair needs and job progress with supervisors and team members.

Requirements

Diesel mechanic experience required.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Strong knowledge of diesel engines and mechanical systems.
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
Able to work independently and pay attention to detail.
Must have own tools.

Must pass a drug screen.
