Pratt & Whitney Component Repairs Wichita Falls is a leader in hot section component repairs for Pratt Whitney Canada (OEM & aftermarket). The Finance controller for this site is a key business partner to the Management team.

Job Duties:

Planning, directing and coordinating all accounting operational functions.
Managing the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of consolidated business results
Coordinating and preparing internal and external financial statements
Coordinating activities of internal and external auditors
Providing management with information vital to the decision-making process
Managing the budget process
Assessing current accounting operations, offering recommendations for improvement and implementing new processes
Evaluating accounting and internal control systems
Evaluating the effectiveness of accounting software and supporting database, as needed
Developing and monitoring business performance metrics
Hiring, training and retaining skilled accounting staff

Basic Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting and a minimum of 10 years’ prior relevant experience OR a Master's degree in accounting and a minimum of 7 years' prior relevant experience
US Citizenship due to government contracts

Preferred Qualification:

Prefer master’s degree in business administration (MBA) or a professional designation such as the chartered professional accountant (CPA).
Team leadership experience
Strong knowledge of cost accounting in a manufacturing environment
Must be capable of managing projects and show leadership skills.
Ability to sustain a high level of pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Adaptable, autonomous with a positive attitude.
Strong knowledge of Excel
SAP knowledge would be considered an asset.
