Job Description for Front Desk (PR)
Pay: $14
PR (Patient Relations) team members perform routine tasks in Optometrists' offices. Their work is critical in the day-to-day workings of the office as they are the first “touch” a patient has with our office whether they are walking in or calling on the phone. They set the tone for the patient’s experience in our office. Making each individual patient feel as though they are our priority is PR’s #1 goal.
Customer service, attention to detail, and precise documentation skills are integral traits for this profession. Their work must be correctly and efficiently performed as they obtain insurance information and demographic information vital to billing. Time management skills and multi-tasking abilities are also a must due to keeping patients and doctors on schedule while maintaining a high customer service attitude. Computer familiarity and typing abilities are beneficial as we utilize electronic medical records.
The applicant must be very professional in appearance as our office is a conservative, upscale medical environment.
Office hours are 8:00 to 5:30 Monday through Friday.
