Local Building Supply Company / Installer
Pay: $17+ Depending on Experience
Hours: Monday - Friday 8-5 (overtime as required)
Job Duties:
- Inspect the installation site to determine the best placement and configuration for the overhead door.
- Assemble door components, including panels, tracks, rollers, hinges, and springs.
- Install and align door tracks and hardware according to guidelines.
- Secure door sections and hardware in place, ensuring smooth operations and proper balance.
- Install and connect electrical components such as openers, sensors, and remote-control systems.
- Test door functionality and perform adjustments to ensure smooth and quiet operations.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues as needed, diagnosing problems and implementing solutions.
- Adhere to safety standards and regulations.
- Perform safety checks to verify that doors are installed securely.
- Provide maintenance services
- Communicate effectively with customers, addressing questions, concerns and providing guidance on door operation and maintenance.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality workmanship and professional service.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area, respecting the customer’s property at all times.
Applicant Requirements:
- Must have a clean background.
- Pass a drug screen.
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous general labor trade.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and installation instructions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to details.
- Physical stamina and strength to lift and maneuver door components.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Flexibility with scheduling.
