Local Insurance Company/ Licensed Property & Casualty Commercial Insurance Account Manager
Pay: $20 + DOE
Hours: Monday - Friday
Job Duties:
Pre-qualify and analyze prospect. Obtain all information needed for quoting
Enter prospects information through agency comparative rater & carrier quoting systems to determine best rates and fit for the client
Present quote to client & review coverages
- Solicit other lines of business for account rounding
- If writing policy, obtain signatures, payment information, and any additional required information.
- Review issued policy for accuracy
- Forward binder, ID cards, policy or any required document to insured & or mortgagee
- Attach all required documents into client electronic file in agency management system
- Update client file with all required notes and client correspondence
- Process client payments and answer client billing inquiries
- Process loss payee and mortgagee changes on carrier websites
- Take mortgagee calls to confirm premium, coverages & mortgagee clause
- Process endorsements as needed
- Process cancellations
- Send account round emails to clients, call and follow up
- Process claim emails/calls as they come in
- Misc. projects as they come up
- Run renewal report and document premium changes in client file & agency spreadsheet
- Re-shop with carriers if necessary
- If able to find a better coverage for premium, present quotes and go through quoting steps above
- If no better options are found, send appropriate email to client
- Generates quarterly renewal reports in Excel
- Prepares summaries of insurance, schedules and proposals as needed for account review
- Remarkets renewals, contacts clients, creates renewal proposals and handles other renewal activities (review quotes w/other carriers)
- Creates and sends certificates of insurance for commercial accounts
Applicant Requirements:
- Must have a clean background.
- Pass a drug screen.
- Preferred Licensed.
