Job Duties:
Responsible for assigned equipment, vehicles, tools, etc.; equipment should be maintained in good working order and repairs made as necessary.
Maintains assigned company vehicles in top operating conditions.
Cleans out sewer lines when necessary, using appropriate tools and equipment.
Reports unsafe conditions for apartments, grounds, and any other hazards to
maintenance supervisor and/or Executive Director.
Makes repairs to buildings.
Makes off-duty service calls as emergencies arise.
Makes repairs to maintenance equipment as needed.
Acts as backup personnel to read electric meters, when needed
Assists and leads in all technical services, such as installation of hot water heaters, commodes, adjustments and repairs to ranges and refrigerators, heaters and service to motor vehicles and other repairs as needed.
Conduct annual inspections and complete repairs, in compliance with Inspire
protocol and other HUD standards
Assist with semi-annual housekeeping inspections in coordination with Resident Compliance Clerk
Performs other duties in relation to maintenance as required or requested by the Maintenance Supervisor or duties that arise because of a natural or man-made disaster.
Must be able to lift at least 100 pounds.
Assists, when necessary, with any other duty as directed by the Executive Director.
