Local Medical Facility / Ophthalmic Assistant (Certified & Non-Certified Considered)
Pay: $13 - $16+ DOE
Hours: Monday - Friday 8-5
Job Duties:
- Ophthalmic Assistant experience preferred but will train someone with a strong work ethic and desire to learn.
- Maintain a friendly and positive environment with patients and co-workers.
- Work in a flexible office and be able to handle assignments in an organized manner
- Ability to work in a very busy practice and learn skills necessary with the possibility to earn certification.
- Be able to register & schedule patients.
- Strong organizational skills, detail oriented, and be a self-starter.
- Previous medical office experience in a health care setting is a plus.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills both written and verbal.
- Strong computer skills, experience with electronic systems desirable or ability to learn.
