Operates equipment such as press brake, shear, plate roll, and various other fabrication activities associated with a metal fabrication shop
Reads blueprints, measures, and marks where to cut, punch, and bend metal parts (layout)
Measures, marks, and cuts structural steel by following blueprints, drawings, and oral instructions
Use overhead crane to handle metal sheets and parts
Basic math and measurement skills required
Should be mechanically inclined
Ability to read, interpret, and work from blueprints
Requires being exact or highly accurate
Requires standing and moving around throughout entire shift
A minimum of 1 year in a manufacturing environment
Day Shift, M-Sat, Paid Weekly (65+ hrs)
