Parts Runner – Job Description
I. Job Summary
The Parts Runner is responsible for providing dependable, timely, and courteous service while picking up and delivering parts within an assigned territory. This role helps build strong relationships with customers and vendors by ensuring accurate deliveries and professional customer service.
II. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Pick up and deliver parts and merchandise to and from customers and vendors.
Assist shipping and receiving with checking in parts, stocking, and inventory counts.
Maintain a clean, presentable vehicle and perform daily safety inspections.
Represent the team with a professional, reliable, and positive attitude.
Share customer feedback or insights with the Parts Manager or Outside Parts Salesperson to help improve service.
Build strong customer relationships through prompt, courteous service.
Maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record; follow all safety procedures and company policies.
Demonstrate the organization’s core values in all decisions, interactions, and work tasks.
III. Position Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Basic knowledge of the delivery area.
Experience in delivery, customer service, or retail preferred.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.

Physical Demands
Frequent driving, stopping, and getting in and out of a vehicle throughout the day.
