Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. This role involves reading blueprints, fabricating components, and assembling and welding parts to meet project specifications. This is a hands-on position focused on manual welding and fabrication—no computer-based work required. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and experienced in shop fabrication and assembly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Fabricate parts and components according to specifications
- Perform mock-ups and assemble projects prior to final welding
- Execute quality welds using appropriate techniques and materials
- Inspect finished work to ensure accuracy and structural integrity
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently
Qualifications:
- Previous welding experience required
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Experience with fabrication and assembly work
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Comfortable working in a manual, hands-on environment (no computer work required)
Compensation:
- $16–$18/hour based on experience
